Insurance - What it covers
The British Wrestling Association (BWA) has a group insurance policy that covers all BWA members in relation to Employer’s Liability, Civil and Public Liability.
Note
For any claim to be valid, the BWA Administration must be aware of an individual membership prior to the date of the incident giving rise to the claim
Directors and Officers of the BWA are insured against wrongful acts.
BWA members are insured for travel outside the UK, whilst representing the BWA.

BWA members travelling outside the UK must obtain the permission of the BWA prior to departure to qualify for this cover
There is no group insurance policy in place to cover individuals against injury sustained in the ordinary course of training or competition. Individuals should obtain their own insurance in this regard if required.
